    Agile roles and real-time feedback – what recruiting teams can learn from the honey bee

    Digitalization brings us new ways of cooperation that most recruiting organizations do not fully use yet. We may learn a lot from the honey bee: nature equipped these insects with many of the capabilities that technology is just starting to provide us with now.
    Dealing with complexity. Increasing productivity through prioritization. Agile reactions to high volatility. Honey bees excel in areas that are becoming increasingly crucial to recruiting teams. They can show us how to make the best use of today’s technical possibilities. Bee colonies use their natural abilities in ways that technology just starts to enable us to. With insight into both, state-of-the-art recruiting and bee research, this talk builds a bridge between two usually distant fields of expertise.

    Sören Frickenschmidt is heading the recruiting department at the German pharma company Boehringer Ingelheim. His daily work revolves around organizing, measuring and improving recruitment for highly specialized target groups. In his free time, he experiments with different methods of beekeeping.
